We had a busy month of industry events ๐Ÿ”‹

We had a great time at the All-Energy Conference/Exhibition in Scotland ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ

Team MapStand had an amazing time at the All-Energy Exhibition and Conference | Renewable Energy Event in Glasgow! ๐ŸŒŽ

We demoed our REACT project at the SSEN-T stand, updating viewers on the project's progress and sharing how REACT helps project developers toanticipate and respond more effectively to changes in the grid connection landscape.

It was brilliant to connect with so many professionals in the renewable energy industry ๐Ÿ™Œ

We also attended the annual Esri UK conference in London ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

Ali, Greg and Sharon headed down to London to attend the annual ESRI UK conference.

It was great to connect with fellow industry professionals and discuss how MapStand data can be integrated directly into your Esri systems.

The team enjoyed the conference's engaging talks, including 'Uniting Our World With GIS' and networking with other industry professionals.

We're already looking forward to the next Esri conference later this year!

Get in touch to learn how you can get MapStand data directly into your Esri systems, discuss use cases and learn how we can help you.

Exploring NESO's Planning Initiatives

NESO Initiatives (1)-1The UK's energy sector is undergoing a significant transformation, including a myriad of acronyms... FES, SSEP, CSNP, RESP, Connections Reform, REMA, and more.

These acronyms form part of a wider shift to achieve a strategic, spatially-aware energy system MapStand supports this transition by delivering high-quality spatial data, advanced analysis, and user-friendly decision-making tools.

Our solutions enable industry stakeholders to gain valuable insights, uncover new opportunities, and make informed decisions across the energy sector. Dive deeper into the NESO Planning Initiative here.

EU Mandates 50 Mt/yr COโ‚‚ Storage by 2030 โ€” is the EU Ready? ๐ŸŒŽ

The European Commission has taken a major step in accelerating industrial decarbonisation. Under the Net-Zero Industry Act, 44 oil & gas producers are now legally required to develop COโ‚‚ storage capacity, based on their fossil fuel output between 2020 and 2023. They must collectively deliver 50 million tonnes of COโ‚‚ injection capacity per year by 2030.

This regulation marks a shift: COโ‚‚ storage is no longer optional - itโ€™s a legal, logistical, and investment-critical challenge. MapStandโ€™s platform supports the transition with data on:

โœ… COโ‚‚ emitters & capture projects
โœ… Storage licences & rounds
โœ… COโ‚‚ pipelines & infrastructure
โœ… Estimated storage capacities

Is Europe ready to scale fast enough? Letโ€™s connect if you want to understand how geospatial intelligence can support your decarbonisation strategy.
